You should see the array of plugs and adaptors I have in my car for a
radar detector, an iPod, a GPS, a WiFi hotspot, and an extra socket for
my phone charger. I still find myself needing more.

Watch the computer ports. You need a special high power USB port to
charge an iPad at full speed. Otherwise just like with an underpowered
AC adaptor it takes forever. Even though the iPad does not say it is
charging it is getting a trickle charge. Not all computers USB ports
(most in my experience) put out enough amperage for an iPad.
