Re: [apple-iphone] Gmail on iPhone

An update, I have found the contacts, it is in my Google account, the contacts are the same as on my main computer.
The contacts I wish to remove are NOT in my contact.

Many thanks to you all for your replies.
I  was trying to keep my question uncomplicated but I do need to give more information.
These contacts I am trying to remove are NOT in my main contacts list on my desktop computer, the contact app in setting on my iPhone appears to be empty!
So I do not understand where gmail is getting them from.

Try going into contacts on you main screen if you haven't moved that app around.. Go to the contact you want to delete, choose edit at the top right and then scroll down to where it says delete contact..

Hi, can I put my question in another way.
Using Gmail on my iPhone8+ how can I delete a contact?
Because when I compose a new email I put the 1st letter of the person I want to contact.
But this brings up quite a few contacts I would like to remove.
Any thought before I pull my hair out 😊

Have you tried the highest rated email app?
With 4.5 stars in iTunes, the Yahoo Mail app is the highest rated email app on the market. What are you waiting for? Now you can access all your inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, AOL and more) in one place. Never delete an email again with 1000GB of free cloud storage.
