You are listening to conspiracy theorists who have no idea at all what they are talking about. Cataract generation? Cornea burning? Just what do they purport the issue is? Microwaves from the screen?
Since others have been tactful and the message has not gotten across I will be more clear. This is blatant anti-science anti-intellectualism that leads to the insanity of statements like "my opinion is worth more than your facts."
This is the same silliness that causes school PTAs to get energized over cellular towers near schools when the same parents who complain load up their kids with cell phones. Clearly no understanding of the parameters for radio frequency energy exposure.
This is the same silliness that insisted some cars had "unintended acceleration" that couldn't possibly be the driver stepping on the wrong pedal.
This is just silliness. No credible scientist or engineer would respond with anything other than gales of laughter. If you don't trust science and engineering you better stop going to doctors and had definitely stop driving over bridges and riding in elevators. In fact you should stop driving. No TV for you. No Internet. No medicine. No airplanes. No heat. No air conditioning. No GPS.
This message is brought to you by the people who brought you all those things. If you believe us about those, why don't you believe us about this?
