Re: [apple-iphone] Alternative to Notes

That is correct. It can be tested out by putting a link in iMessages and seeing the result. You should get a preview of the link.

Alice, correct me if I'm wrong but I think the idea is, you include a URL in your note which then appears as a miniature preview of the webpage content w/o having to click to the website to actually view it.  The examples I saw on the Evernote forum looked like that (along with the complaint that this used to be a feature of Evernote but seemed to have been dropped).

I'm not sure I understand what a linked preview is. I have premium Evernote just not sure what this feature is.

Roger,  I've been trying to determine if ENote used linked previews.  I've never used that feature.  The forum suggests it used to be in the basic license but was removed about a year ago.  Might be in the Premium but I have only Basic.

Hi All,

Does anyone use an alternative app that's similar to notes that works on iPhone, iPad and Mac? It will need to have a link preview like Messages. ie: on Messages when I put a link in a message, you don't see the actual link, you see a picture with article headline and source. Apple now doesn't do that. I wish it did.
