I'm still using the free version of Day One. What journal app are you using now? Do you like it any better than Day One?

I downloaded "informant 5," and deleted it quickly as every time I attempted to enter a setting or make a change it guided me to a huge monthly subscription page. I'm willing to pay a one-time fee but not a recurring fee. This seems a new trend with aps. There used to be a good journal ap called "day one," which I used until I found the developers demanding a huge recurring subscription just to allow one to increase his number of categories beyond ten. I do hope this grasping trend in developers can we successfully warded off and smartphone users not fleeced.

How is Informant not working with iOS 11?
They have continually been updating the app and it works just fine.

My iOS Calendar starts on a Monday in month view, but I don't know if this is because that's how I've set the preference in my Mac calendar (synced using iCloud) or because it's the UK default... On the phone, in Settings > Calendar > Start Week On, I can also change it to any day.In week view, it seems to default to today being in the middle, and then I swipe left or right.Otto

Could anyone suggest a good calendar ap wherein I may choose the week to begin on a Monday. The built in ap begins on Sunday. I had INFORMANT but that has ceased to work with iOS 11.
