I'm with you Cyndi. The iPad would be great if Apple could engineer the iPad so one could use it instead of a desktop or laptop. My iPad mini is my go to when I go on vacation besides my iPhone. I rwally liked my MBP when I had it but it got old and I hadn't traveled with it enough to warrant upgrading it. I bought a Mac mini. Great little machine.

I originally bought a laptop just so that I could have it in the room I was in. I did want to also be able to take it when I needed it for travel. Now, I am more likely to stow one of my ipads in my tote. I would love to go completely iPad, it just isn't ready for prime time. There are still some things that I find easier to do on the laptop than the ipad. We are getting closer. A girl can dream. 😃Cyndi

many seem to have laptops even though more expensive, much smaller screens, way harder to
type on, a lot of times even slower with a lot of times less storage. Pius hard to upgrade
yourself if you wanted to swap out parts.
I know portability is a big reason but I am trying to figure out why so many get Mac laptops
when they use them at home 99.9% or even 100%of the time?
I talked to 5-6 maybe 7 people I know and they have laptops 100% they use it at home and
never take them anywhere????? They say they might take it here or there, but never have??
I just don't get it???
