My guess would be to put one of them on a different iTunes account.

I have an iPhone 6 and a 7, both synced to the same iTunes account but used for different purposes
I want to keep the call records separately
however when I delete call records from one phone they seem to get deleted on the other one as well
is there any way to stop this
