My group of friends use messages (text/iMessages) as a way to communicate on a regular basis. Originally there was just a group thread with all of our names. Then one friend decided to create a group thread called "Special Friends" and she added us all into the group.
A while ago I was going abroad for a short trip and removed myself from the two groups. I was added back to the groups when I returned, but find that I can only post to the group thread with our names, and can't post to the "Special Friends" group. When I post using the group thread with our names, the other friends receive my messages in both group threads.
Why can't I post to the "Special Friends" group? How do I fix the problem?
