Re: [apple-iphone] New iPhone user - some questions

Wonderful!!  Windows 10 is so good in some ways but  when it acts up it sure can be frustrating.

I have been using photosync since the iPhone 3s. Find it easy and efficient.

Photos are not synced. Plug in your iPhone then on the computer go to "computer" there you will see the iPhone listed under devices and drives. Double click the icon and you should see internal storage (or something similar I have win 10). Double click that and you should see a DCIM folder double click that and you will see an apple folder,  click on that and all your photos will be visible. Select the ones you want and drag and drop or use cut and paste to move what you want.

Also there are apps like PhotoSync that allow wireless transfer. I like that one.

Or if you have office 365 you can allow one drive to access your photos and they will be synced to your one drive folder on your computer anytime you take a photo.

As far as the user guides go I used the iBooks version. Maybe that can be printed out????

Have you tried the highest rated email app?
With 4.5 stars in iTunes, the Yahoo Mail app is the highest rated email app on the market. What are you waiting for? Now you can access all your inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, AOL and more) in one place. Never delete an email again with 1000GB of free cloud storage.

Ironically, you cannot do this using Finder (the Mac's file explorer). You need to use an image app to import photos, and a third-party app to access the iPhone's file system in general.

Also, just as the massive amount of electronic equipment in a hospital may interfere with your cell phone, your cell phone may also interfere with the electronics.

Shouldn't, but may anyway.

And cell phone usage is often forbidden in most parts of the hospital, and only allowed (for example) in the lobby.

Re: [apple-iphone] New iPhone user - some questions

You might try looking on a site such as Amazon for a hard copy of an iOS 10 user guide.  Here's some info from Apple about transferring your photos:

Thanks!!
