From time to time, I notice my phone running hot, with what seems to be increased battery drain. Normally, a re-boot (hold both buttons until the apple logo appears on the screen) will take care of it.

My iPhone 6 Plus became extremely hot when it was not in use and not charging. The screen may have been on when I opened my phone. The battery seemed low. Is this a known problem?
