I usually put my (42 mm) "Series 0" watch on the charger for 3-4 hours in the evening when I am sitting at my computer. That gets it fully charged, and I then wear it overnight.
When I put it on the charger, it typically has about 50% charge remaining.
The Series 2 has a better battery.
