Tired the Bose, not nearly as good a sound. Beats has best definition and clarity of any headphones I have ever used. I will say they have a reliability issue, the one at the station has low level static in the right channel, but considering the heavy use headphones get at a radio station, I am not surprised. It is not a big deal in the high pressure on-air environment.
I freely admit - I am not Apple centric. When they do something right, I sing their praises. When they do something stupid, I'll call them out. And - the headphone jack on the bottom instead of top - that was a pain because the headphone wire in my pocket had to come all the way from the bottom. Now the adapter is so large and clunky it and the phone won't fit in a shirt pocket at all. Yes - the adapter is large and clunky regardless of what you think. Someone will scoop them on it and have an adapter that either fits in a case, or attaches to the bottom an only adds a small amount to the length of the phone. The usually saavy Apple sure missed the mark on this one.
