I should add that I also have a Beddit sleep monitor that I bought at the Apple Store. It works better that my UP and my old Fitbit.

I use my Jawbone UP band at night and the Apple Watch during the day. I like that I can read my texts and get phone ringing notifications as well as track my sleep. But I've developed a rash on my wrist and may be replacing it. (It's a known problem with a small number of Fitbit users, but I've read there are similar problems reported with Apple watches.)I'm disappointed that the Apple Watch doesn't track sleep. The Fitbit does it with accelerometer and heart rate - I don't see why the Apple Watch doesn't.But I'm most concerned with battery. I charge my Fitbit when I take a shower, so 10-15 minutes a day, and I never run out. I sleep with my Fitbit because I want to know how much sleep I'm getting. I guess I could charge an Apple Watch overnight since it doesn't track sleep, but that seems like a lot to give up.

Leti, I have never found batter life to be a problem. My watch has been off the charger for13 hours and I am down to 60%. The last thing I do at night is put it on the charger. I understand that the Apple watch 2 has a better battery. On Mon, Sep 26, 2016 at 6:08 PM, Leti Yahoo l_labell@yahoo.com [apple-iphone] <apple-iphone@yahoogroups.com> wrote:I've been contemplating getting a watch, but 18 hour battery life is a killer for me.

Waiting to see what Apple does for the iPhone 10th Anniversary next year. I did get an Apple Watch yesterday though. Never thought I would get one. Hubby got one for me.
