I have had an iPhone since Jan. 2008 and I don't remember notes ever being in iTunes. If it was, maybe they took it out when they started syncing with iCloud.

Do others get their Notes backed up by itunes? If so, how? It is not an option for me in Windows. I do use iCloud but I would prefer to know that itunes had a backup too
