Glad I'm not the only one. I don't get error messages, but did notice since I upgraded to ios 8 that my photos are not sent to the cloud anymore.

After about 4 attempts and failed installs, I did a little error code research and discovered that V4.x can not be installed on 64-bit operating systems (mine is Win 7 64-bit). I have also noticed that my photos and videos are not in my iCloud.com.
Are there any other issues users are aware of by remaining on V3.x that may be helpful to know about. Does anyone have a workaround for this or other related issues?
I am suggesting, that in the future, Apple clearly indicate such a limitation BEFORE or even after a failed install.
