Re: [apple-iphone] SyncIOS

Before purchasing be aware of the following.

Altho their website advertises that all kinds of content can be backed up to your computer (or transferred to another phone) when I attached an iPhone 6, from the long list of possible file types only apps, photos, music, videos and books were checked as possible file types to back up.

Text messages and call logs were listed as NOT files types that could be backed up.

Notes and book marks were not selectable either.

To back up Contacts, it's necessary to first disable iCloud syncing.

Anyone know anything about "syncIOS"? It's a non apple syncing software. It's supposed to allow you to move songs onto it and even iTunes from a iphone. There is a desire for this if your computer crashes and you lose everything without a backup. I'll be trying this soon and hope I don't lose my 1500 songs on my 4. I've been using it for a iPod but I'd like to get them all on my current phone. Thanks Mike
