Interesting.
Links have been made to those with many apps, and I mean MANY apps. Also to the memory controller, as the controller on the TLC Nand is different. Rumours were that Apple will put MLC Nand into these phones in future production, but the chips are smaller than MLC , so that doesnt make too much sense. TLC is slower, and cheaper, but also smaller. They exist in the 64/128 iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, although I recall reading the other day that the Plus has a mix. It may be a mnix, or a shift to MLC in the larger device. There is some form of command line that can be entererd in to an app to ascertain what memory chip is in there.
Is there a software fix? Well we hope so. Apple says nothing. It may not be all that bad, just when a certain small number of factors align themselves. Since I got my first iPhone , a 4 , on release day, a spontaneous reboot has happened once. This non rare instance of rebooting 6's has made me luke warm over getting one. If it wasnt for my wife saying, get one, I will have it when you get another next year, I would have quite happily just waited. My 16yo is overdue, so she will get my 5S. Wife happy to keep the 4S.
Speakimg of bugs or issues, I had one the othercday on my iPad Air. Gestures would not work. They are turned on, so I did a hard restart and all good. Same with the know Spotlight issue which I have on my 5S. I knopw many of you hate Windows and discredit it often, but all I ever seem to read in recent months are about bugs and issues with Apple gear. Its becoming a standard topic. Hope that all gets sorted eventually

I experience it more often than I like. When it happens, it's almost always triggered by a Spotlight request.
