I use Touch ID regularly on my phone & iPad without problems, but I do notice that I have to press my finger harder on the iPhone 6 for the print to register than I do on the iPad. It seems that this started recently, possibly after the last update.

I started when using iOS 7 on my 5S. It was flaky enough that I stopped using it for a while, until a 7.x upgrade made it much better.
When I moved to iOS 8 it seemed to respond even more quickly than under iOS 7. But recently (maybe with 8.1.2, maybe not) it seemed to forget my fingerprint quickly.
I am curious if anyone else has noted this. I certainly haven't seen *reports* of it in the news feeds about Apple stuff.
