A friend wants to give me his old iPhone 5. He's a Verizon subscriber, and I'm an AT&T subscriber.I know AT&T and Verizon use different network technology. Can I still use this iPhone on AT&T, and if so does it first need some hardware changes?David
As of the iPhone 5, the Verizon iPhones were still physically different models that can NOT work on the ATT network. A completely different Broadcom cellular chip. I seriously doubt it could be changed.
