I have a pay as you go t mo hotspot When that first happened to me I called t mo After they did testing etc. they has me power down. Battery out Sim out.

We're discussing iPhones here. Tell us how you took the battery out.

Also. I used to plug it into my USB on laptop to keep it charged. Apparently they stopped the hotspot from working as well.

One of the 3 normal ways of USING a hotspot with an iPhone is by connecting the iPhone to the computer with a USB cable. (The others are Wifi and Bluetooth.)
