Happened to my iPhone 5S several times. And it's just a month old. My 4S (iOS7) does that too. I think it's an iOS7 thing. The only consolation is it comes back up pretty much faster than when previous iOSes restart.

My iPhone 5 has been restarting occasionally, about two or three times a month. this started a couple of months ago, and I hoped the last update would fix it but no luck. Has this happened to anyone else? My iPhone 4 might have restarted once or twice in 2 years and it's been over a year with the 5 and only recently started restarting. It's not always the same app either.
