It's hard to find a really clear and rubberized material. Mostly, it's translucent (not transparent). And most flexible (not RIGID) materials discolor overtime. I've had such cases for my previous iPhones. Turns ugly and dirty-looking after a month or two.

Anyway, ensure the case you are getting covers the whole side and the front edges. My clear case doesn't cover the front edges. I dropped my gold iPhone 5S the other week and portion of the lower edge (half a centimeter) got chipped off.
