Yes, iOS 12 has made iPhone 6s's run faster. I have a couple friends that upgraded to iOS 12 on their iPhone 6s's and they like the extra speed and smoothness of the install and how well their phones work now. No experience with iPhone 5s's but I think they'll work the same way. I'd Microsoft is involved, I'll pray for you.
