Re: [apple-iphone] "Cleaning" App function?

"Cleaning" Usually Indicates Available Device Storage Space is Very Low

Ah.  That might explain why I've not seen this.  I always kill apps I'm not using.

My son has an iPhone 8+.. Frequently he says it does the following..

Very briefly (i.e. for maybe a few milliseconds), a given app will dim its icon and have the message "Cleaning..." appear under it. I don't know what it's doing exactly, but I always have to reload the app from scratch whenever it happens instead of starting where I left off.

Does anyone know what this is or how to keep it from happening at all or as much? Thanks. I don't see it on my iPhone 6S.

Have you tried the highest rated email app?
With 4.5 stars in iTunes, the Yahoo Mail app is the highest rated email app on the market. What are you waiting for? Now you can access all your inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, AOL and more) in one place. Never delete an email again with 1000GB of free cloud storage.

Re: [apple-iphone] Activity data

Just for your information: all activity data from my old phone miraculously appeared on my new one.  Don't know why it didn't in the beginning and why it did later.

I did contact apple tech support, and although it's time consuming, it is helpful.  They told me to toggle the health ap on on all phones.

I have two iPhones on one of which is stored my work-out data. I'd have assumed that it would be there on both. It isn't perhaps because only one phone is synced to my Apple Watch. What to do to get the data on both my iPhones? Should I try to save the work-out history using the "save to files" option that appears when viewing history and then upload it to the other phone? Thanks very much for any kind help.
