Ditto here — no problems at all with iPhone, iPad or Watch. Apple issued a newer version that was supposed to take care of the problem that was occurring early on.

I had NO TROUBLE updating my iPhones, iPads, and Watch.   Just back up and you're still safe.  Lots of new toy features to play with once you are up and running!   Good luck
