Second reply to "Recommendations I've read say iPhone 5 and 5 c do not have the power for iOS10 whereas 6 and 6s do, but little mention if 5s, which has more than 5 and 5c but less than 6 and 6s has the power so it does not run slow."
I forgot to mention that my 5S has 16GB storage.
I installed 10.0.1 "over the air" on my 16GB 5S which has about 4GB free space without incident.
