Re: [apple-iphone] Apple watch and iPhone 5

The apple watch is superb and you will never regret buying it.  Pairing is simplicity itself.

I have an iPhone 5 with 32GB of RAM.  The phone is now a little over two years old but is in excellent condition and works fine other than an annoying delay since upgrading to iOS 9.0; it is now o running 9.0.1 .

I was planning on getting an iPhone 6+ and keeping the iPhone 5 as a spare and a useful gizmo.  However  I will have to pay for a new phone in full as I have done in the past.  We have a family plan and I don't want the phone purchase to be on our monthly bill since that bill is paid by another family member.

I have been thinking that an Apple watch may actually be more useful for me as it is often a hassle to take the phone out of my pocket when I am driving or doing other tasks that occupy my hands.

Hence, my question, does anyone have experience with pairing the Apple watch with an iPhone 5 and do they work well together?

Most of my phone use is for occasional phone calls, texting often, driving directions, listening to audio programs and Twitter.

Thanks for your input,

Bobby
