Two years ago I bought a refurbished iPhone 5 32GB from the AT&T store and found out something interesting when I needed it serviced. Because the phone is refurbished by AT&T as opposed to Apple the one year warranty starts from the original purchase date for the phone. I purchased my phone in the end of November while it was originally bought in the end of September so I lost two months of Apple Care. 

When Apple refurbishes a phone it gets a new serial number and the warranty starts from your date of purchase. Hopefully AT&T has changed how they handle refurbs but I don't know.

I've been on a wait list for the iPhone 6+ 128gb through AT&T. I see now that the AT&T online store is now carrying refurbished iPhone 6+. So I took a chance placed an order. The phone has shipped will arrive on Tuesday. If you don't mind a refurbished phone (I've had several without any issues) this might be a better option if you don't want to be on a back order.


Also if you add a new line you do get a $100 bill credit within 3 billing cycles.

The images on my main computer total over 35,000 images and almost 195 GB.

I certainly don't put them *all* on any mobile device.

I have created a folder (called "_for_iPad"), and designate that folder in iTunes. Within that folder I have several sub-folders, most of which are checked off, each of which has copies of images from some part of the main collection.

If I don't want some, permanently, on the iPad, I simply delete the *copy* that is synced to the device.

If I were going to do much text entry on the iPhone, I would use a good bluetooth keyboard, but text entry is one of the reasons I bought an iPad, and then a Belkin bluetooth keyboard case for the iPad.
