I just had a Sony GT575UP stereo installed in my Jeep Wrangler. I had the factory radio, and wanted to upgrade so I could listen to music from my iPhone through the system (including Pandora and other audio).
Everything was bought and installed at my local Best Buy, and seems to be working fine. However, I'm having trouble with a couple of the "automatic" things that happen.
* When I plug my iPhone into the USB in the stereo, it immediately begins playing from My Music.
* I turned the song off in Music, and then later had a podcast auto-start and play. I went into the podcast app, and could not find it playing. I ended up deleting the podcast episode in order to shut it off.
* I have an app for online radio, and was playing it fine. However, when a call came in, it did not pause the audio.
I am getting ready to read the manual for the stereo, and there may be solutions in there for my questions. However, I am thinking this is a "Settings" issue on my iPhone.
Any tips/suggestions here? I want to be able to simply plug my phone in, not auto-play, and shut down music when a call comes in.
