I agree on the Lifeproof. Have always kept my phone in one.
Have taken my phone in the family pool, underwater video is fun!
My husband (a dairy farmer) gets his phone so dirty, I mean grungy.
I put his phone (with the Lifeproof case on) right in the dish water to clean it, or spray it with window cleaner all over, let it sit for a few, then wipe it down.
We've never had a leak or a problem.
Lifeproof's warranty is pretty darn good too. If the screen gets excessively scratched, or something breaks, they replace it free of charge. They've replaced my husband's 3 times already. :)
You can get them at Best Buy, WalMart, or online at Lifeproof.com
