No, not at all. It is those putting their phones into huge cases who obviously miss the 80s "bricks". ;)
I'm all for smaller, slimmer, and lighter, but with a nice, big screen, of course. I do wonder, though, whether practicality is too often sacrificed for appearance/fashion. My phone wears an Incipio Feather case that adds almost nothing to the weight or size but is necessary both to keep it as new and to stop me dropping it (the 3GS has a back like polished ice).
Again, is there not a market for slightly thicker smartphones with battery life more than a day or 2?

Tongue in cheek, I will ask if you want us to have stayed with the lug-ables (about the size of an ammo box) or the first Motorola, (the white slimmed down WW II walkie talkie)? Where is my man-bag, so I can take my Motorola with me? ;0)Use what ever suits your needs best.
