Calm down, Jim. He is sharing a related experience with a hotspot device from the cellular provider.

Since you can't remove the battery from the iPhone, I would cycle the power. But I would think reseting the network settings would do the same.

But I think that it really an issue with T-Mobile and I would suggest the OP call T-Mobile. If it is not a service failure, I would guess they will tell him to reset the network settings.

Also. I used to plug it into my USB on laptop to keep it charged. Apparently they stopped the hotspot from working as well.

One of the 3 no rmal ways of USING a hotspot with an iPhone is by connecting the iPhone to the computer with a USB cable. (The others are Wifi and Bluetooth.)
