The iPhone's glass is supposed to be scratch resistant; however, if you are
putting it in your pocket with keys or change or something else that could
scratch it. I'm really surprised the person at the AT&T store didn't try to
sell you a screen protector. I have one on my phone and it wasmpurchased at
the AT&T store. Ther are many different screen protectors on the market for
the iPhone it is just a matter of preference. The one I use is by a company
called Moshi.
