You have to be carful when comparing GPS nav systems. There is more than one route from place to place depending on the settings in your system. Apple maps ( what you folks are calling Siri) may be using what it believes to be the fastest where the Garamin may be using what it believes to be the shortest. It is also effected by how current the maps are. Apple maps are web based & systems like Garmin have resident maps.
