I have found Garmin seems to be 2-4 years behind in its information and you are using that as a standard?
It has restaurants listed in my home town that have been closed for 4 or more years. In another state, when driving along an interstate looking for my hotel, the off-ramp had been removed 2-3 years earlier. It took 5 miles to get back to the hotel.
BTW, take __any__ directions with a big grain of salt.
