Hi all, thanks for the help! Ultimately, we learned about the triple click toggling the Voiceover mode. Probably how it got set the 1st time.
The solution we used was via settings after reading that Voiceover changes scrolling from a 1finger to a 3 finger process! We needed this to scroll down to Accessibility in Settings/General.
