I do. My example was when at work, no wifi, so as 344MB is too big to use 3G, by way of a restriction, I used wifi from my friends iPhone, hers was on 3G. Often, when out and about, my 14yo daughter wants to turn on my Personal Hotspot to save her data! Thats ok, as guess who pays for her data!

I am still curious as to why you don't use WiFi on your iPhone.

Or tether to another device if you use two. I did that to get the iTunes cookbook the other day, 344MB. Borrowed a friends iPhone 4S, tethered my 5 to that so was "using' wifi"
