I have somehow accidentally hit that switch not realizing it!! It seems to happen when I grab for the phone on the side to pull it from a slip case I have. Perhaps that happened to you.

In fact, it's hidden behind a flap on my protective case, and I've never even opened that flap to do anything with that switch. The switch is above the two volume buttons. It's a mystery how I could have activated the switch without having gone behind the little flap to do so. ARGH. Technology will drive us nuts.

When I go to my sound settings and select my current ringtone, I do hear the sample loud and clear. "Vibrate on Ring" is On. "Vibrate on Silent" is on. I can't find anything that I've obviously chosen that is silencing the ring. Same problem with reminders. Same problem with the little alert sound when I plug it in to charge. What am I missing?
