You are missing out on the ability to find your iphone if it ever gets lost. Set up an iCloud email and keep them different for each device. Then you can try it out with Find My iPhone to see how it works.
God forbid you ever misplace it or it gets stolen. That app will find it, and it's been used by the police on several occasions reported in the press.
