[apple-iphone] "Find My Friends" Question

 

Hi - My wife and I share one Apple ID, but each have an iPhone. I think this app "Find My Friends" uses the Apple ID to track and if that is the case, it won't work for us. I was hoping it would use the phone number or some other ID method. I have it on our phones but so far no luck. Does anyone know if this should work, or a work around?
