[apple-iphone] Touch Screen help

 

I need help please. The touch screen on my iPhone 5 is temperamental, I have to tap something 3 sometimes 4 times before it responds. Is this an operator issue, a setting issue, or should I return the phone to the Apple Store for a replacement? My iPhone 4S was very responsive to my finger commands. My iPhone 5, not so much.
