Never have I had more frustration than in setting up the 5. I had no problem setting up my 3GS, 4, iPad 2, iPad 3.
Obviously, it's not the phone's fault. But I backed up the 4 to my computer, then restored from 5 the backup. It didn't work the way I expected. Every app that I have ever owned showed up, and I went through reorganizing 11 pages of apps and deleting those I didn't want. Then my music, which did initially transfer over, disappeared off the 5 and wouldn't download again. Finally, I got that problem solved.
So new problem: Every contact that I have -- all my email and FB friends, some people I've never heard of -- are now on my "phone" contacts list instead of just those people that I actually CALL and have phone numbers for.
Any way to get just my phone contacts back and keep the rest of those other people on my generic brown Contacts list?
