Re: [apple-iphone] activation needed message

Oh, yes, it's been synced many, many times in the 2 years or so that I've had it.

It will be running just fine. I shut it off a few days ago and when I powered it back up it had the "needs activation" message on it. Plugged it into the computer, started iTunes, got the "restore" message, didn't want to wipe it because I have voice memos that I don't want to lose, so I ejected it. Still the message. Plugged in again, then powered off while plugged into computer and unplugged it. When I turned it back on, it worked normally.

That has happened twice now. I'm stymied as to why it would suddenly think it needs activation and to be restored.

The computer is a Macbook Pro running OS 10.6.8.

Have already tried everything on the apple support site and other places that I've googled this week, and this isn't the issue that I want to solve right now, although if anyone knows a sure-fire fix for that I'd be open to knowing!
