I was having this problem sending pictures to Windows users. (but not to own iMac or iPad)

Tara, a member here, suggested I hold the 4G with the camera lens in the upper Left corner, which orients the volume up/down buttons in the lower left corner. The use the volume up button to click your picture and send it. ( Thank you Tara!)

I tested this sending to my husbands Windows based PC, and it worked--- pictures arrived in correct orientation.

Now, if for some reason it does not, there is a neat little App you can download for free called "SnapBot" that will send the pictures oriented correctly from your iPhone photo albums.

I don't understand! No matter how I hold my iPhone4, when I take a picture, it seems to be side ways when I view it on my computer ðŸ˜'!
