Perhaps hard restarting your phone. If the SE is the same as a iPhone 6 - press the home button and the power button at the same time and keep holding til the Apple logo appears. The phone will restart with hopefully all back to normal.

Hi, I have an iPhone SE. It is 90% charged. I was getting a message that the phone was not backed up but that has gone away. But what is happening is that when I hit the phone icon I get a mostly blank screen with only Verizon at the top (showing 1 bar and the fact hat I'm connected to wifi), the time, and the amount it is charged and the fact that it is charging. or I get a completely black screen with just a little green rectangle at the upper right corner.
