Thanks to all who have weighed in.. As a middle-aged man I tend to not wear makeup or earrings, so those changes don't apply to me. I do wear reading glasses so I set up scans with and without. I Do give it three or four chances before typing in passcode. But it's tedious and frustrating when I have to open an app and it doesn't work and I have to resort to getting the password from LastPass and then that doesn't want to work and I have to type that password. I never had a lick of trouble with my past Touch ID phones or my current Touch ID iPad Pro. I'll call apple today.
