Personally I wouldn't use any "open wifi" at all in in airports etc. Usually airlines have wifi you pay to use. Here in CA, there's all kinds of free wifi you can use, ranging from McDonalds to your hotel. I just don't trust any wifi with the name "open" or "public". I haven't heard of the company Private WiFi. I did Google it and came up with a company by that name. Looks like. Pay service although at the time of this email I didn't look at it in depth.
