[apple-iphone] Re: Wi-Fi/Bluetooth trouble - Time for a wipe and restore?

 

Rich -

I actually thought about that after I had already done the previous sequence.

So, I did it again last night and after the [Restore iPhone] step I tested the Wi-Fi (didn't have a Bluetooth device handy.)

Bad news, same problem. The phone won't see any of the dozen or access points here at work or at home. If I stand next to an access point, I can select it and then the Wi-Fi does kind of work up to about 15 feet.

Oh well, good news I guess is that it pretty much means the problem is in the hardware. The software configuration and the provisioning that gets pushed down to the phone here at work are not the cause.
