I have a 5, with one update due, it updated fine just now. Unless it was just fixed, it must be a server issue somewhere. I am in New Zealand, perhaps a US Apple server issue. Maybe my updates come from Apple, but via a NZ server

Subject: [apple-iphone] App Store not responding
I have an iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4, 32 Gig.
As of today I have not been able to Access the App Store UPDATES tab. I
click on it, it turns blue, and nothing happens. The screen stays white
FOREVER!
I have patiently waited for up to ½ hour, touching the screen every now and
then to keep it from going into standby.
I have closed all apps, done a hard reset, connected to iTunes, done a sync
and a backup. Nothing has helped.
Has anyone ever come across an issue such as this?
Any suggestions?
