Sent to you by Brent via Google Reader: Monoprice Is Offering A Great
Deal On Apple-Certified Lightning Chargers via App Advice by Brent

After what seems like an exceptionally long wait, we're finally
beginning to see inexpensive Apple-certified Lightning chargers hit the
market.
Monoprice has been long known as a great place to snag a charger on a
budget. And the site is now offering both a wall and car charging
solution that will work with newer iOS devices.
The car charger features a 38-inch cord and produces up to 1 amp of 5
VDC charging power. The mounting point on the generic white cable
swivels up to 45 degrees, reducing strain on the connection.
It is in stock now, and available for $11.57. Shipping to my Texas
address started at $2.80.
The wall charger features a 5-foot long cord.
Measuring 58 inches, the wall charger has the Lightning connector built
in. With the ability to accept input voltages of 100-240 VAC, it offers
the same 1 amp of 5 VDC charging power. With the 1-amp charging power,
the iPhone and iPod touch will charge as fast as possible. But the iPad
and iPad mini will only charge at around 50 percent of maximum speed.
And you'll have to be patient to purchase the wall charger as well. As
of now, Monoprice is listing the $13.04 charger as "coming soon."
